Teen Volunteer

Teen Volunteer Program

Summer is the perfect time to serve patients and their caregivers at the Stephenson Cancer Center. The Teen Volunteer Program is looking for motivated, positive, mature, and helpful high school students to support our mission.

The program occurs during the months of June and July each summer. To be considered for the program, an online application must be fully completed and submitted by the deadline.

Becoming a Volunteer

Step 1: Download our application packet. Once it is complete, submit it to our volunteer coordinator by the deadline.

Step 2: Selected applicants will be invited to interview with the Volunteer Coordinator.

Step 3: If selected for the program, you'll be given a complimentary TB test, attend a mandatory volunteer orientation, complete online HIPAA training, and schedule your volunteer shifts.

Program Application

While selections have already been made for the Summer 2017 program, we hope you will apply for the Summer 2018 program.

The Teen Volunteer Program Application for Summer 2018 will be available online by March 1, 2018.

Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator with any questions.
