Pancreatic Cancer

The specialists in the Gastrointestinal Cancers Clinic at the Stephenson Cancer Center are experts in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide variety of cancers of the digestive system. As a comprehensive cancer center, our patients have access to clinical trials where today’s newest drugs and potential breakthrough treatments are accessible before they become widely available. Our patients receive all of their care, including imaging, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, in our state-of-the-art facility designed to ensure your comfort and convenience.

Team-Based Care
The Gastrointestinal Cancers Clinic at the Stephenson Cancer Center has treated more gastrointestinal cancer patients than any other medical center in the state of Oklahoma. Through our team-based approach, our highly experienced gastrointestinal cancer specialists collaborate with a variety of other medical specialists, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and gastroenterologists, to diagnose and develop an optimal treatment plan.  This method ensures that prior to the initial visit, our patients have been evaluated by a team of more than 30 physicians, who collectively developed a treatment plan. With this system, patients will meet with other medical specialties, such as medical and radiation oncology, at the same time as their appointment with their gastrointestinal cancer expert.

Navigating Your Care
We believe that providing the best care possible includes helping patients, their caregivers, and their families navigate through the complex maze of treatment decisions, fears, and questions that arise during your cancer journey. As a patient of the Stephenson Cancer Center, you’ll have access to our patient navigation program. Your navigator will coordinate all or your information and care with your treatment team and will be a personal resource for you, your caregivers, and your family members throughout your cancer journey at the Stephenson Cancer Center.
