The Nikon NI-U is an upright epi-fluorescent microscope with the double slide holder for viewing 2 slides side-by-side. The fluorescence light source is with SOLA white-light excitation system. The objectives on the microscope are Plan Apochromat – 4X NA 0.20WD20.00; - 10X NA0.45WD4.00; - 20X NA0.75WD1.00 and – 60X NA0.95WD0.15MM. The software that handles the images is the NIS-Elements software from Nikon.
