Pain and Symptom Management Clinic


The Pain and Symptom Management Clinic specializes in management of complex cancer-related symptoms such as pain, fatigue, anxiety, and depression, either while patients are in treatment or afterward.

The team in this clinic helps manage patients manage their pain and other symptoms through a variety of methods including medications, alternative and complementary therapies (i.e. Reike, Massage Therapy), and referrals to other Supportive Care Program services such as the Pyscho-Oncology Counseling Clinic and the Cancer Rehabilitation Clinic.


The Pain and Symptom Management Clinic treats a wide range of cancer-related symptoms, including:

Supportive Care

The mission of the Supportive Care Program at the Stephenson Cancer Center is to restore and maintain the quality of life for people living with cancer and their families through the interdisciplinary delivery of expert symptom management, palliative care, health promotion and prevention interventions for the person diagnosed with cancer.
