Blood and Marrow Transplant Program


Our Blood and Marrow Transplant Program is the only comprehensive stem cell transplant in the state performing autologous and allogeneic transplants for children and adults. We perform more than 100 stem cell transplants a year and have done more than 2,100 transplants since the program began in 1982. Our stem cell sources include peripheral blood, marrow, and umbilical cord blood from related and unrelated donors.

Pediatric BMT Program

Pediatric blood and marrow transplant are done at The Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at The Children's Hospital. To refer a pediatric patient, please call (405) 271-4412.

BMT Support Group

The BMT Support Group meets regularly at the Stephenson Cancer Center. Led by BMT staff, the group aims to provide support for patients and their caregivers.

Supportive Care

The mission of the Supportive Care Program at the Stephenson Cancer Center is to restore and maintain the quality of life for people living with cancer and their families through the interdisciplinary delivery of expert symptom management, palliative care, health promotion and prevention interventions for the person diagnosed with cancer.
