The Melanoma Clinic at the Stephenson Cancer Center is compromised of a multidisciplinary team of leading melanoma experts who specialize in the treatment of high-risk stage II, stage III and stage IV melanomas, including:

Cutaneous / Melanoma of the Skin
Ocular / Melanoma of the eye including Uveal / Choroidal

Experts on this team include medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, opthamologists, pathologists, research nurses, and navigators. 

Our clinic offers both targeted therapies and immunotherapies. We have a full array of surgical subspecialists and specialized radiation techniques such as gamma knife and stereotactic radio surgery.

Clinical Trials

The Melanoma Clinic has an array of clinical trials for patients either at high-risk of recurrence or with unresectable disease. 

We also have the latest therapies available through our phase I clinical trials program, the only program in the state, for patients who have progressed following their initial treatments. 

In addition, as a research center, we have in-house translational research studies that are working to develop the next wave of treatments, right here in Oklahoma.

Supportive Care

The mission of the Supportive Care Program at the Stephenson Cancer Center is to restore and maintain the quality of life for people living with cancer and their families through the interdisciplinary delivery of expert symptom management, palliative care, health promotion and prevention interventions for the person diagnosed with cancer.
