The Blood and Bone Marrow Cancers Clinic at the Stephenson Cancer Center offers a multidisciplinary team of leading hematology and bone marrow transplant experts who focus on the full spectrum of malignant and non-malignant hematologic disorders including detection, treatment, and research, including:

Treatment can depend on a number of factors, from the stage of the disease to location of the tumor, and can include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other therapies. As a patient of the Blood and Bone Marrow Cancers Program, you’ll meet with our hematology/oncology cancer experts during comprehensive clinic visits and will have access to advanced imaging technologies and the latest therapies, including inthrathecal chemotherapies, CAR-T therapy, and experimental therapeutics, all in the comfort and convenience of a single location.

TRANSPLANT AND CELLULAR THERAPY PROGRAM

Our Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program is the only cellular therapy and comprehensive stem cell program in the state, performing autologous and allogeneic transplants for children and adults. We perform more than 100 stem cell transplants a year and have done more than 2,100 transplants since the program began in 1982. Cellular therapy was added to our clinical services in 2019 with the advent of CAR-T therapy.

Supportive Care

The mission of the Supportive Care Program at the Stephenson Cancer Center is to restore and maintain the quality of life for people living with cancer and their families through the interdisciplinary delivery of expert symptom management, palliative care, health promotion and prevention interventions for the person diagnosed with cancer.
