Stephenson Cancer Center Welcomes Leading Cancer Imaging Investigator

Bin Zheng, PhD, a leading cancer imaging researcher, has joined the Stephenson Cancer Center. He will hold an appointment in the Experimental Therapeutics Research Program. His addition will enhance an already strong cadre of cancer imaging researchers at the Stephenson Cancer Center and OU College of Engineering.

Eight undergraduate students will spend their summer working in cancer research laboratories as participants Summer Research Scholars Program at the Stephenson Cancer Center. The program, now in its fourth year, allows the students to work under the mentorship of senior cancer scientists and will encourage their interest in and preparation for careers in cancer research and medicine. The cancer laboratories are located at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
