Cancer and treatment-related side effects can often create challenges for patients and their lifestyle.  

Our patients are cancer survivors who range from recently diagnosed to as many as 20 years after treatment. 

Team of Experts

The Cancer Rehabilitation Clinic provides compassionate, evidence-based rehabilitation cancer survivors at any stage of survivorship (from diagnosis to years after treatment.) Our academic-based based program incorporates the latest findings on cancer rehabilitation into practice for our patients.

The team of physical therapists offer the most cancer-related therapy expertise in the region. Many of them hold special certifications in lymphedema therapy

Services & Treatments

Using the services of an oncology-trained physical therapist can reduce unwanted side effects of cancer and its treatment as well as help with prehabilitative measures to get patients ready for treatment. Commonly treated symptoms include:

Cancer-related pain, weakness, and fatigue

Supportive Care

The mission of the Supportive Care Program at the Stephenson Cancer Center is to restore and maintain the quality of life for people living with cancer and their families through the interdisciplinary delivery of expert symptom management, palliative care, health promotion and prevention interventions for the person diagnosed with cancer.
