Susanna Ulahannan, MD, MMed, is an assistant professor in the section of hematology/oncology. She specializes in treatment of Gastrointestinal Cancers and Phase I Clinical Trials.
She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. During her fellowship she served on the National Institutes of Health Center for Research Protocol Review Committee. She is currently a member of the Data Safety and Monitoring Committee as well as the Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee at the Stephenson Cancer Center.
Dr. Ulahannan completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. She completed an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University, Sinai Hospital, Baltimore. She earned her medical degree and a master’s of medicine from Sahlgrenska akademin, Goteborg University in Sweden
She is board certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine.
