COLON AND RECTAL CANCERS

Colon and Rectal Cancers Clinic

.

The Colon and Rectal Cancers Clinic at the Stephenson Cancer Center provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients with gastrointestinal cancers. Our specialists provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for all types of colon and rectal cancers, from pre-cancerous lesions to complex malignancies.

As a comprehensive cancer center, our patients have access to clinical trials where today’s newest drugs and potential breakthrough treatments are accessible before they become widely available. Our patients receive all of their care, including imaging, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, in our state-of-the-art facility designed to ensure your comfort and convenience.

Team-based Care

Through our team-based approach, our highly-experienced colorectal cancer specialists collaborate with a variety of other medical specialists, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and gastroenterologists, to diagnose and develop an optimal treatment plan.

Before their first appointment, our patients have been evaluated by a team of more than 30 physicians, who collectively developed a recommended personal treatment plan.

Navigating Your Care

We believe that providing the best care possible includes helping patients and their caregivers navigate through the complex maze of treatment decisions and questions that arise during your cancer journey.

As a patient of the Stephenson Cancer Center, you’ll have access to our patient navigation program. Your navigator will coordinate all or your information and care with your treatment team and will be a personal resource for you and your caregivers throughout your cancer journey at the Stephenson Cancer Center.
