Jeremy R. White, MD, director of the Sarcoma Musculoskeletal Tumors Work Group Program since 2013 and Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation has been a member of the University of Oklahoma faculty since 2009.
In addition, he is an on-call staff member of the Level I Trauma Center at Oklahoma University Medical Center (the only Level I Trauma Center in the state of Oklahoma) and is on staff at the Bone and Joint Hospital, Oklahoma City. Dr. White has published several scientific articles and over a dozen presentations dealing with orthopedic oncology.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Dr. White holds a Bachelor of Science with high honors degree in Biochemistry and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha. He received his Doctor of Medicine with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. White completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. After residency, he pursued an Orthopedic Oncology fellowship at the University of Florida, Gainesville and joined the faculty at the University of Oklahoma in 2009.
Dr. White is board-certified in orthopedic surgery.
