The Stephenson Cancer Center will hold a Thoracic Oncology Survivor’s Workshop on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in Oklahoma City.
The all-day workshop is designed to provide patients, survivors, caregivers, and clinicians with the basics of thoracic cancers, including lung and esophageal cancers, as well as in-depth information on targeted therapies and treatments.
Additional topics include: Clinical Trials 101, Living with a Feeding Tube, Life after Esophagectomy, Pain Management, and Ports 101. Expert physicians will present and participate in a physician panel with a question and answer session.
Regardless of when or where treatment was received, all are welcome to attend. There is no cost to attend, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
